How AuPairPilot protects trust

Clear rules.
Visible safeguards.

AuPairPilot is designed around documented eligibility rules, human review, mutual consent, and message safety controls before strangers can contact one another.

01

A versioned eligibility policy

Germany’s current rules live in one policy object, identified as de-2026-08. Profiles and matches record the policy version used when they were created. When official guidance changes, we create a new version instead of silently rewriting the old one.

The policy currently covers age, intended stay, working-hour limits, language requirements, and the host-family household-child attestation. We review the cited official sources every quarter. This is an engineering implementation of published guidance, not an immigration decision or legal opinion.

02

Progressive access, not instant exposure

Creating an account does not make a profile public. Every beta profile requires eligibility plus manual identity and phone review before discovery.

Beta safeguards

Authorized staff record a typed reason for every identity and phone decision. Host families also need an audited, time-limited household-rule approval while the qualifying household-child definition is being confirmed with immigration counsel.

These manual beta checks are designed for a controlled beta group. They are not a substitute for a production identity/liveness provider at public-launch scale.

Messaging opens only after both approved people independently express interest. Until that mutual match exists, identifying information remains restricted.

An approval is not a guarantee of character, compatibility, or immigration outcome.

03

Messages are quarantined before delivery

Messages are checked before delivery for contact details, external platforms, links, and payment or money-transfer language. If a check triggers, the original message is held rather than edited or partly delivered.

The sender sees the category that caused the hold and can edit and resubmit. The recipient does not see a held message.

Safety events enter a severity-ranked moderation queue and are retained under AuPairPilot’s documented retention rules; those periods remain subject to privacy-counsel confirmation before public launch.

What this page does not claim

AuPairPilot is not a visa sponsor, immigration authority, or law firm.

Eligibility checks support safer introductions; they do not replace official decisions, contracts, or professional advice.
